I love this story. I was just on a podcast talking with a woman who had felt she wasn’t dressing like herself while working at a certain luxury fashion brand. Going to work each day (which was hard enough already) had been even harder in costume. I told her my days working at Calvin felt the opposite—I often put up with things because I felt so at home in the brand’s minimalist DNA. As restrained as it was (go figure).
