In my opinion, the thought and care given to ring 3’s has been a total closet game changer over the last few years since discovering Tibi. Such a fabulous concept! Your illustrations bring it all to life! Thanks Amy! You’re a genius! Happy holidays!🎄✝️🥂
Ok here’s the thing. Statistically speaking the ring 3s are going to sell the least. When push comes to shove people will choose navy or black over ochre or stem ; or they’ll argue the brown and the pack-ish are too close- so maybe hot pink is the attention getting option. But it takes a company comfortable being small to say ok we will go with the strange color and it will not be huge but we know why we love.
Agreed. Right before I found Tibi and learned about the color wheel and the power of ring 3s, though, I discovered Grana, a Chinese-based company that does beautiful silk and cashmere pieces. I was drawn to this ring 3 color they did in a brownish/red, and started to buy every piece they had in this “ish” color. I never understood the “why” though! … until I learned about Tibi color wheel that is! I simply loved the color because I thought it was very different from any brown I had seen before, and more importantly, it just seemed to work so well with my black/grey/white dominated closet. The silk pieces I got in this ish color do feel very previous because they are silk. Tibi not only does the ish colors, but in fabrics that don’t feel too precious - eg. sporty nylon and active knit.

Right. And it’s funny, there is a real reason why the ring doesnt exist - I’ll do a story on it!
Bringing in those ring 2 colors totally changed my looks and gave me a much better working closet
.......Interesting...the only Ring 3's in my wardrobe are Tibi......and the only Ring 4 in any footwear is also Tibi..... Hmmmmmm

It’s so hard to find good ring 3 with depth outside of Tibi!
